Given the price of the product it seems fit for purpose. The bottle is robust but the Litre markings were very difficult to see, that was solved easily with a marker pen as the increments on the side of the bottle are raised. The plunger is a bit wobbly when extended and the 'o' ring that completes the seal inside looks quite thin and may not be that durable. ,however the vessel gets up to pressure with minimal pumping. The tube and sprayer arm are lightweight but have performed very well so far. The pressure relief valve performs exactly as it should with a simple lift with your fingers. So far I have use it on 5 occasions with about 20 litres in total Having had quite a few sprayers over the years that all seem to fail sooner or later, I see no reason not to recommend this product to anyone who wants a cheap, easy to use sprayer for home use.Read full review

It all started so well for the Kingfisher, I read an independent review of the best 10 sprayers and it won as the best for non-professional everyday home gardening use. Good price too at around £8. I had noticed a few negative comments but when you want to buy something these are easy to overlook - besides how can a simple sprayer not work? I now fully understand how a sprayer just does not work. There is a pressure relief valve aperture, a connection for the spraying hose and of course the main opening to put the liquid in - ALL 3 leak air! This means that as soon as the handle was pumped to pressurise the sprayer the air just came out with a loud hiss, I used water for testing purposes and was lucky to get a drip. I started with the pressure relief valve as the most likely source of leakage, what a poor cheap and nasty "design". There is a spring, not unlike that found in a biro, this is meant to push a plastic stopper into the opening to prevent air escaping, I took the spring out and stretched it, more and more, a bit more. By now it was not so easy to get it back into the valve - BOING! Spring gone, fired like a bullet from a gun, I didn't find it until the next day. So back to testing, hissssss, the liquid hose opening was leaking, a bit of PTFE and a lot of force to "over" tighten it (not easy as it is very close to the main opening which restricts grip) now only the sound of a few snakes hissing and a small spray of water! The main opening was leaking, this just needed a lot more (too much) tightening which means it's hard to undo when you've finished spraying / dripping. So anyway after this palaver I put some weed killer into it and it was ok for the job. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review of anything but this device is just so poor that I felt it my duty to beg people to buy something else - anything else! Effort without reward.Read full review

Haven't used this actual one yet but previous one I had was excellent. Only problem I found is you can't get replacement washers and when it begins to fail to keep pressure. Shame to have to throw away a perfectly good machine when all it needs is a few new washers,

Using this sprayer is so easy, I have arthritis in my hands and I can't use the normal spray bottles as they hurt my hands, this is so easy to use, I highly recommend it.
