The buying experience was quick and painless, particularly as it was so cheap! The unit arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. The accessories appeared to be new, the unit itself was described as reconditioned but was quite frankly as good as new. It wasn't new because the previous users addresses that he had visited were still in the memory. The F350 is fairly basic, but because of that it is very easy to use. I have used only one sat nav before (so I'm no expert)but within a few minutes I had set it up and it was fully operational. I like the fact that it uses the full postcode and even the house number so it will take you to within a few houses of any address. The only thing about the F350 that I don't like is the voice. The only other sat nav I have used cost more than 10 times the price of this one so perhaps I have been spoiled. With this one I find the voice sometimes difficult to understand, she seems to mumble. The audio is not adjustable for tone or bass etc so there is only the volume to fiddle with. I tried that but the quieter I made it the harder it was to hear. It is only a minor complaint and the problem only really exists with the window open or with other background noise to contend with. When the windows are closed and other noises subdued (like music) I can hear the instructions clearly enough. That about sums it up. It's basic, no frills, bells or whistles but does what you would expect. The price was amazing, under £31 including all tax & postage, that's cheap! It is not as good as the only other unit I have used but that cost £375, so all in all I am happy with my purchase.Read full review

Does everything you want, in a cheap satnav. I steered clear of satnavs for years, believing that if you can't use your brain to read a map, you shouldn't be driving, I have always found where I needed to be with my road atlas and pre-written notes. Then one day, I had to pop into Glasgow for a hospital appointment and finding the hospital in rush hour traffic was a nightmare. I succumbed to purchasing a satnav and have never looked back. I didn;t want, or need one with all singing and dancing bells and whistles, just something cheap and cheerful that helps me find a point easily and quickly, and you cannot go wrong with this model. Its cheap, easy to follow, loud enough to hear over motorway noises, and gets you from A to B without any fuss, and no need to take your eyes off the road to look at your map or notes. You may have to update the maps when you first get it, I havn't done this yet but I am sure it will be pretty straight forward with the usb connection. Overall, very happy with my purchase.Read full review
Works very well. I had a more expensive Binatone, which I gave to my son, and the only difference apart from screen size is that this model doesn't seem to have any speed camera warning information.
The GPS Receiver stated here is very easy to use, it displays the road at the angle that the driver would see it in, is very easy to set up and even says the speed limit, so you can't get caught by a speed camera! However, there are some issues. Small, but manageable. For example, the voice is sometimes unclear, and also it can get easily confused by trying to take you round the long way! (Instead of the Google Map way which is direct!) It does correct itself when you get close enough however. My conclusion is that even though there are some glitches, it works well enough to be considered a good buy!
