Just received, put in my semi tractor and used for the first time. Love it. Much better than the roadpro which I had for years. Its full size, comes with a nice reusable filter + coffee scoop, glass carafe that sits down on the heating element so no worry about it falling out while you're driving. It brews slow but all 12v coffee makers do. Once it's done brewing it tastes as good as anything you'd make at home or buy at dunkies. Plug has a replaceable fuse so no worries there. My first brew didn't pop any fuses in the truck nor did it burn out the socket so that's good... Make sure you plug this directly into the socket, no using any splitters or extensions or you'll need your fire extinguisher.

The only reason I give this a terrible rating is it takes an hour to brew four cups. I am off grid and was looking for DC items to keep the use of my inverter to a minimum for power efficiency, but I think three minutes on the inverter is more efficient than an hour draining my batteries.

I got this for my fiance to use on the truck because she can't always park at a truck stop when she takes her breaks. She loves this thing and her only complaint is that she didn't get one sooner!

If it is taking a long time to brew and the cord is over heating then change the ground wire to the power outlet to a 12 or 10 awful and you should be good to go
