It seems the quality of these strings got a bit worse, not as smooth and projected as the last set I used (with the old desing). The surface is more uneven, don't know if they will break without warning, as well as the color slightly varies from string to string. Otherwise, still enjoyable! Hope the manufacturer will control the quality a bit better, though or I might have to change to another brand, as I need super reliable strings.

I've tried most of the well known brands of strings. Being an amateur self-taught player, I seemed to think that I'd never be able to achieve the mellow tones I heard from other musicians. However, since I fitted the Helicore strings I feel I'm getting closer. The wound E string in particular has a beautiful soft tone, without the screech I experienced with any of the other strings I had been using. Thank you.
