The good news is that they are easy to put together however there is something flwed in the design because they certainly hold the water in the sink but when you lift the plug to drain the sink it struggles to let any of the watering and food waste gets caught around the rubber flange?!?! In the end I just pull the strainer out and let the water & waste go down the plug hole! I may as well not bothered with the strainer and just bought an old fashioned rubber plug! Maybe the strainers are too small for my sink?

Replacing the similar designed pair of plugs. As I suspected the spindles are half the length of what I required. Fortunately I was able to make the spindles longer which allowed me to use the stoppers as I wanted.

Thought I'd give these a try the measurements seemed to be the same and they were very cheap. They arrived early which was good.. on opening the package I thought the chrome drainer was a bit thin and the actual rubber seal was a slightly differnt design to mine. I firstly just replaced the rubber seal onto my drainer but it kept on leaking. So, I used both new units and it worked!! Great, really happy so I bought another set as a spares. Would recommend this product.

I do not like giving negative reviews but if I am asked I will always respond honestly & fairly. The price is very good but the metal is very thin & badly finished, personally I found them a little tight for my plug hole so I pushed down to try & 'plug' the hole. I then wondered where the blood was coming from?! The edges of the elongated holes are VERY sharp & I had cut myself on 3 fingers, not life threatening but blooming annoying & sore. Cannot recommend this item.
