I have used these griddle pans for many many years and am always delighted with the look and flavour of the food cooked upon them. You must make sure that you take the time to wash the transit wax off it completely and to dry it before you season the griddle for its first use. If you spend two hours doing this when you first receive the griddle then you will not go wrong and will have years of delicious , tasty , good looking food. Seasoning the pan is very important as this is what builds up the griddled / BBQ flavour and depth of shine on the pan. Over time you come to know your pan and will know when it needs another burn / season. Do persevere as the end cooking results are well worth it. Happy Eating.

Good solid griddle plate . Curing the plate was a little trying tbh having to treat with oil and place it in the over at 200c for an hour . Smoked the kitchen out 🤭. But cooking on for the first does take getting used to .... I found it best to use the medium size burners . Bring it to smoking point and then reduce the heat . Cooks your food brilliantly.... A+ from me
