Great product
This is a great product, they enable you to leave your windows slightly open in the summer and if your a smoker, stops the rain dripping onto your arm when the weather isn't the best. The only way I can fault these items is that there is the slightest gap so at motorway speeds you get a very slight wind noise, but then it may of just of been the way I fitted the metal lugs that support the deflectors as once they are in they are not the easiest of things to adjust, but other than that I am really happy with my purchase :)This is a great product, they enable you to leave your windows slightly open in the summer and if your a smoker, stops the rain dripping onto your arm when the weather isn't the best. Important Installation Notes!
The item itself is about as top quality as you will get, many other manufacturers are poor. Whilst these don't fit great near the mirrors on a MK6 Astra J 5 door, they do otherwise feel and look great. The fitting instructions are a little poor and misleading sort of so I looked on the net before installing, like the videos I thought the clips go in to the top with the V pointing upwards ( ^ ) in to the door frame so the top of the window touches it., but after trying several things, I realised the tiddly images that come with them indicate the metal clips go over the sticky labels sideways ( < >), so the sides of the windows run up the plates. The only thing i wasn't sure of was which side the embossed side of the V plate went, I opted for it to be touching the wind deflectors and I am ... I did try it against the door but it felt loose. Despite all this, the window did catch a couple of times, mostly near the mirrors, but there seemed nothing I could do other than twist them away slightly, but they now look like the draft or vibration over time could bend them back inwards and stop the windows opening again.

Nicely formed product that does its job but fitting did not go according to plan. After multiple attempts at dry fitting both sides it was clear that I would have to trim the end of both front wind deflectors to get them to stop catching on the window glass and trigging the safety system to send the glass back down. Trimmed 5mm from the front end of each defender and both work postgraduates now. No wind noise created by cutting them back any guarantee offered will be out the window now.
