1. Do not store the sccop in the lid. It is too big and prevents the top sealing. 2. With scoop removed the seal is OK. Better options are available though. 3. Scoop is slightly small, say 6.5g 4. Holds about 750g so you can fill it with a Kg bag and out the rest in the grinder / freezer 5. Bit hard to pick up. 6. Stainless steel is good, not sure if it imparts flavour, probably not food rated 7. Bit pricey for what it is. Not sure how good an airtight seal it is, but I think other reviewers probably kept the spoon stuck to the lid which CAN stop the lid closing properly

It's air (and light) tight, so ideal for coffee. Plus it's large enough for my mixture of 2 x 250 g packs of beans. I'd been looking for something like this for a while and had seen some with push-on lids, but then I found the Easehold canister.

Just got the the grinder, cleaned, ground somehow coffee beans and made a cup. What a fantastic bit of kit, solid engineering, smooth finish a joy to look at ! I will enjoy making coffee and blending for years to come. Tom.

This is a great storage canister and looks good on our worktop. The magnetic spoon is a good idea but doesn't always stay in place. Does the trick for ground coffee though.
