This iPod was bought to provide me with a back-up iPod (it is identical to one I already had) for when the battery on my original drained, so I can swap over to this one with a full battery life and still have all that I need. Plenty of storage space for all of your needs, considering you wouldn't be able to listen to absolutely everything you might add to this iPod before the battery dies on you. A great purchase, and one of the better iPods, in my own personal opinion, of the range.

As was expected, the battery life is poor, so no problem here. The iPod works fine. But the connection with our speaker dock is not good: there can be scratchy interference that impacts on the sound quality, and this is unexpected

I bought this product for Christmas 2012 for my daughter. It plays music, has a few games, has a screen and is easy to use. It also connects to most iPod / iphone docks. What I like about it is that it does not connect to the internet and therefore I do not need to go through security settings to ensure that inappropriate content is blocked. It does not have a video camera (you need the 5th generation iPod nano for that) and therefore avoids certain issues with schools.
I really bought the nano to use in the car & as a back up for my more expensive ipod classic. Has all the features of a classic plus a built in camera & fm radio. It really is a go anywhere music player because of it size only downside is 8gb is nowhere near enough for all my songs but thats my only issue with it
The new ipod nano 5th generation is very similar in style and workings as the previous ipod nano the only real difference is the camera which only takes videos not photos which is abit of a let down. otherwise just like the previous model it is easy to use, good size screen, good sound quality, nice slim shape to put in pockets and comes in a range of cool colours.
