You get an amazing whoosh of steam the first time you press the button but then everything after that isn't much more than a disappointing pfft and the longer you use it, the less pressure you seem to get. I'm not one for standing and doing boatloads of ironing in one go which is lucky as I could imagine throwing it out the window if I had to!
