I enjoy listening to the radio and very pleased with my purchase. It is packed with lots of useful features the reception is particularly good and I find it quite easy to use. The sound quality could be better but using it as a bedside radio, it is ideal.

The Majority Impington DAB radio is described as a 'portable radio alarm' and is styled as such - with a carrying handle and battery compartment. However, we were looking for something to use as a bedside radio - and it fulfils this role perfectly. As a portable radio, I would question its robustness - but for something static it OK and looks neat and unobtrusive on our bedside table. I was attracted by the overall specification. The Bluetooth works well and the USB charging facility is very convenient. I particularly like the fact that all the controls are on the front of the unit as this makes it easy to adjust settings while horizontal in bed. One gripe I have is that the scan button is set with all the other function buttons and it's easy to accidentally hit this when setting, for example, the sleep button in semi-darkness. Not only does this re-scan, but it also resets the stored channels. I guess it's just a case of sensing where the button is. I ordered the radio based on its looks and specification. I didn't read the reviews until I'd ordered! Many were quite negative about the sound and build quality. The sound is OK. There seemed to be concerns about the battery door vibrating - and indeed the door does rattle when the volume is increased. I was able to fix this by removing the door! I agree that build quality isn't the best, but at this price point I think it's fair. So, overall I'm very happy with the radio, and in fact we're thinking of getting another for the kitchen!Read full review

It's got DAB and FM radio with aux in for mp3 etc 2 x USB ports to charge things and earphone socket. 240v and battery powered. Seems well made, not over loud but perfect for me.

I have only had this radio short time, but initial view looks good for the money, light weight to carry which is good in some respects, but might illustrate a weaker loudspeaker system, but time will tell. The extra three years of guarantee is a incentive for writing this review. It is quite feature rich and the number of inputs shown were an incentive for me to bite in the first place. It will be interesting to see how it lasts as hopefully it was designed in Cambridge. Hence all the names majority use and made in China, compared with the cost that my mother paid for a radio in the 1950s. It is unbelievably cheap.
