Multi-purpose milker
Great inventive thinking. Seemed bulky at first, but used a cleaned 5 gallon kitty litter bucket, without the lid, to keep everything in one convenient package for use and transport. You can use 1 quart or galf gallon large mouth jars with this. May want to make a wire hanger for the battery pack to hang on the inside of the bucket just in case liquids get spilled in the bucket. I use the two larger teat milkers and carry one stopper for use if needed. I clean and prep the teats before starting. When cups attached start the vacuum pump and when they are well attached give the pump @ 20 seconds run time and stop the pump. Note the milk flow and keep an eye on it and as it slows temporarily turn the pump back on for a several seconds. Most females have one side of their utter larger ... Great inventive thinking. This is a great little handy device. After using it 2 or 3 times one figures how to manage and use it successfully without a lot of effort. We are milking 3 goats and after weaning the kids getting @ 1+ quart each milking from each doe and are milking 2 times a day... drinlking milk, giving milk away and making cheese. This selller is extemely thoughtful in his product and very resposnsive to his customers. My wife likes to and needs to milk by hand; when she is able; when I milk I use this machine. The only negative feedback I get from the goats is a stomping a rear foot when they are out of food. I love the thought that went into this. One needs to remember this is a continuous vacuum not a pulse vacuum and pay close attention and don't get to much vacuum on the teats. For one goat I run the pump maybe a total of @35+ seconds. Thank you for your inventiveness.. who would of though.. a electrical schedule 80 LB fitting for a pump housing and switch? I recently installed a laundry sink in our laundry room / back porch and when finished I rense the hoses, teat cups and the lid assembly of the milker and hang the lid part on a hook so the lines drain into the sink. Regular AA batteries can be used should your electricity be out and you can not chage the rechargable batteries.

Reasonably priced and just brilliant my goat is difficult to hand milk due to really large udders this machine is good for us both . It's done in minutes not an hour and no contamination from mud or grass in there too so clean .

really helps when you have arthritis in your hands
I would like to have a bit more suction. It really works well on my goats once started and then they need to be finished by hand when they are almost done.I tried to go to a 1/2 gallon jar but it does not like that to well.

good set up
We have used these machines in the past. this one has some problems but we knew that when we bought it. typically these milkers work great. we think this one has the a bad connector. we are milking a holstien and we are glad for the full gallon jar - works just fine for that! thank you for the good deal on a complete set up.

Easy to use and effective
I have severe osteoarthritis in my thumbs. This makes many things difficult. I was considering giving up milking my two Nigerian Dwarf goats. This machine is a game changer for me!. It works great!
