I wanted an electric strimmer that only had a single cable outlet and had automatic cable feed with a cable that didn't break every few minutes. I had read some other reviews and this seemed to tick all the boxes. All the reviews I read were positive, the only negative aspect for most people was the length of cable only being 6 meters. To be honest that did not bother me as my garden isn't huge but would still need an extension even if the cable was 10 meters so all good in my case. I have used it several times already and I am more than pleased so far. The cable seems strong and I've yet to find it snapping mid trim. It's hit some tough weeds as well as brickwork and it seems fine. I would not hesitate to recommend this strimmer.

Have used it a few times now, and the cord / line hasn't broken once. Hope this continues. When edging, it took a little time to get used to where the cut was. I can recommend this strimmer. Must add that the electric supply lead is rather short so an extension lead is necessary.

There is plenty of power for grasscutting and it coped well with grass up to 18" long. The attached guide works very well for trimming against walls or around edges. The automatic line feed works well so there's no need to keep stopping to adjust. The 1.65mm nylon line does not have the cutting power of the thicker wire used with petrol motors, and there is no provision for a brushcutting blade, so it is not suitable for tough undergrowth, brambles etc.

This is the 2nd one I've bought. Last one lasted 10 months and the motor failed. Couldn't find a repairer and Amazon warranty only lasted 4 weeks! So I hope this one lasts longer. I stayed with this product because: Excellent strimming action-does borders and long grass and brushwood very well. The line keeps going without having to rewind as with my older strimmer.
