Sanded table smoother...wrapped some tape around miter gauge to take up slop. Now I can miter thin pieces with accuracy on the table. Belt will hog off lots of wood in a hurry. Find some finer abrasives as these 80 grit too rough. I placed a small magnetic light on the belt release lever aimed at the disc. Dust shrouds only catch some of the dust. Overall for the price I am quite pleased.

it looks great right out of the box and is easy to set up but it has no power and when you put the work to it bogs down it's the perfect size for what I do but I don't believe it will stand up to it .pretty disappointed

Very nice sander for the price. Comes in handy for furniture making, working on cabinets or general woodworking. Very quite and stable, easy to use. Takes a little bit of time on initial setup to make sure everything is square and aligned, but the instructions are clear. Good addition to the basic workshop, can pay for itself very quickly.

This seems to be the exact same thing as the Ryobi model with a Wen label. Check your local Home Cheapo for pricing. The tool is well-built. It's HEAVY, which is good. You should bolt it down, but if you don't it's weight tends to keep it in one place. The motor is a little underpowered; I wish it was beefier (that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5). But it does the job I bought it for, and overall it's beefy enough. Controls are easy to use. It came with instructions and it looks like changing belts will be easy. Everything was already assembled except the two guards, and setup took less than 5 minutes. It comes with an 80 grain belt and 80 grain disk already installed-- not sure if Ryobi can say the same. Overall, VERY happy with this purchase. Oh-- it was delivered FAST!
