    Necessary for the Fluval edge.

    My first review noted that this gravel cleaner does not have a specific tool for cleaning. That does not lessen the use of this cleaner. The delivery was excelllent and all the parts are durable. I have said in a review of gravel cleaners do not let your gravel go more than a quarter of the way up the tube, it could block the outlet and it can be a pain to clean, if a small piece of gravel wedges into the thin opening. I am pl and with h the purchase.

    Waste of money

    Valve is not very effective and whole thing need to be submerge to work. That makes it not suitable for Edge at all. It clogs up easily so not very good for planted tank either. Hose is way to short so easily leave the bucket when working. Yep, totally rubbish in my opinion.

    Excellent it really works

    I was thinking I was going to have to buy a battery operated vacuum but thought I’d try this siphon vacuum first as it was quite cheap but I won’t need to buy anything else. This cleans the gravel spectacularly. I really recommend this if you have gravel
