I am very pleased with the cutlery though my only concern with children using it would be the serrated knife edges and sharp ends of handles.

unfortunately the ends of the knives especially are sharp and the points dig into palms of hands apart from yhat they are a nice looking set but we are not using them at the moment

Upon receiving my new long awaited cutlery set, I was surprised too see the handles where plastic nylon, from the pictures I was under the impression judging from the picture these would be a rubber type handle. Never the less I'm quite happy with them knifes are very sharp and handles feel nice.
