I recommend read the instructions so the buyer is aware that you can either use usb or batteries to power the item.There's no heat, lots of light that solar panels can effectively use, doesn't use much power, silent, won't scratch your watch with the rubber hardware that comes with this product. Seriously, if you are on the fence, just buy it. The build quality could be nicer, by putting it in a wooden case, adding fabric accents, a monogram, whatever. But, the basic functionality is there. Overall it works as intended and no longer have to worry if there no sunlight to charge your watch.
