Exactly as described and worked with ease to fix a problem with an air conditioning pipe. Very prompt delivery within the dates provided. Only comment I would make was that the supplied tube bender was imperial and not metric to match the flaring kit. This was not an issue for me as I did not use the bender but it could be an issue for others. Overall really pleased with the product it works perfectly for me. I would use this seller again without hesitation.

    A bargain item,but.

    This is a great value item the problem is it will not work straight out of the box,when you fix the brake pipe in the clamps you cannot tighten the wing nuts up enough to grip the tube as the faces of the clamp come together before the pipe is gripped I think this is a slight design fault,when I spotted this problem I sanded the faces down where the wing nuts tighten and this solved the problem then it worked as it should. I hope this helps any other buyers.

    Excellent piece of kit

    Excellent piece of kit. It is a bit clunky if you are trying to use it in a confined space but with persistence it can be done. As for doing it off the vehicle it is very easy to use and easily flares copper and steel pipes. The first job I did was to flare a steel brake pipe on a range rover in a really tight place under the right wheel arch and join it to a piece of copper to link up the flexi hose - job done in 20 minutes. Saved a large garage bill.

    good value for the right size pipes.

    A well made tool, chrome plated to last, this works well . be warned, though, it is no good for automotive brake pipes, as the smallest sized aperture is too big, and will not grip the tubing.

    Absolute must-have tool!

    Having just had an mot failure (corroded brake pipes and a couple of other minor points), and an estimate of over £400 to do the work, I decided to invest in this kit and a roll of brake pipe. I've flared a lot of pipes in the past, but not for a long time. This kit created perfect flares every time, both doubles and singles. The kit, despite its low price, is actually pretty sturdy and will last. The car passed the mot, and for a fraction of the £400 quote. I am very pleased with the performance and the build quality and would recommend this kit to anyone.
