The brush itself is fine but the metal screw of the brush screws into a plastic base from which, after a bit of use, it wears out the plastic - then it drops out and is basically useless save for a bit of light brushing/dusting. Not what I needed for my many gutters. Why make the fitting out of plastic?? A basic child's error.

I tried it,the brush is to big for the 'guttering' and it needs to be 'fully rounded at the end and not just 'cut off' and a plastic end cap over the wire,it just does'nt work so all in all a waste of £9.99 for the brush, and £21.99 for the extending pole, that just does'nt do the job.I still had to get up on some steps and fish out the leaves,in the guttering.

The plastic connector on the brush that fits into the pole, came loose making it difficult to stay in position when using. Had to super glue it on! Also I found it too large to get into my guttering properly.

The brush looks like it will do the job well. My only suggestion would be to not just attach it to the rigid pole, but also a flexible one, so that it doesn't just do the gutter, but also the downpipes. I have surface drainage from my downpipes, so I'd like to be able to pass the brush through them, and in part, they have angled bends. Haven't tried the brush yet, but it looks good.

They only sent half of it,(no handle). There was no mention that it was in 2 parts in the ad, and even July Brandreth ( the Company owner ) did not know the price a complete gutter cleaning brush, nor the price of the pole needed. She refused to send one, Not out of any sense of "fair-mindeness" but I suspect one of "unhealthy self-interest"
