Even though this Katniss doll doesn’t look a whole lot like actress Jennifer Lawrence, she has a lovely, strong face, true to the spirit of The Hunger Games movie and book. I love the details of her Mockingjay pin and quiver with arrows. The jacket detail is exactly like the costumes in the movie. I have two of these; one for my daughter to play with, and now I have one to keep in the box to collect. We found when we played with her that the legs and arms have a good range of movement. Her hands are designed to help her hold the bow. I wish Mattel had made a Rue doll to go with her. That’s probably my only complaint. We bought a black Skipper doll and a female Jurassic Park doll, and put those clothes on Skipper.
