Decent quality rod. Lightweight and comes in a handy travel case for protection. Only thing i noticed and have read on others reviews was the sections are a bit stiff to join together. A quick rub with wax will sort that though. I sea kayak fish and rock fish so this is ideal, if too wild to take out kayak when i get there i'll use the 8ft option to float fish from the rocks. Buyers won't be disappointed.

As a uk pier rod the softest tip is too stiff. The middle tip has its uses but the heaviest one would struggle to show a bite from most uk species. Surely the idea of having multiple tips would be the inclusion of one with exceptional bite indication??? I've rebuilt/extended the handle on mine as the original is far too short and the reel fitting is the wrong way around (based on how every one else fits them). After my adaptations (including sanding the stiffest/useless tip down) I expect this to be a reasonably good rod. The original designer is not a competent rod builder IMO based on decades of experience in the tackle trade

Bought this for my grandson who is just starting to fish. It is easy to transport (it's going in our case to Australia). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the price was excellent. Pleased all round with the product.

Bought a bison 11.6 bass travel rod last year absolutely amazing Rod took it to the carabean last year and this year outstanding rod brand. Thought I'd take a look at this smaller rod for tarpon Jack basicly anything that swims. There an outstanding rod for the price and don't break the bank. Brilliant travel rod 10out of 10.
