Easy to use and has a loud alarm with a 5 minute snooze function. It's quite large, so not suitable for use as a travel alarm clock, but seems to keep time (as far as I can tell after 4 weeks use). The backlight is very bright and the lower level evening backlight is useful, although too bright for my wife to sleep when it's on - a slide of a switch and it can be easily turned off. It has a cheap plastic feel, but it's what I expected from a clock at such a low price. Good value for the money. Not sure how long it will last. It takes 2 AAA batteries, which are not included in the box. Not sure how long these will last. I imagine that it will depend on the length of time that the back-lights are switched on.

I wanted a clock that projected the time onto the ceiling or an opposing wall to make it easy to see all the time. As I don't sleep well, I find myself constantly reaching for the clock. I thought this may save me the trouble. However, though it does project the time, very beautifully, it isn't constant & you need to reach over & press a button for the projection to appear. Just not suitable for my needs. Perfect otherwise.

it's an excellent alarm clock for £5. the only thing that bugs me is it's very bright at night. I can't have it on my bedside table as it's too bright, I put it on my shelf so the light doesn't shine out into the bedroom. I kid you not, you don't need the night light button to see. the clock itself is lovely, shows the time, temperature and the date lovely, good size clock too. I just wouldn't buy this again because the glare is too bright for me. I have taken a picture of the clock with and without the night light

Good size, not too bulky, with clear digits. It is well made. Instructions are easy to understand. There is even a temperature display too. Reasonably loud beep-beep-beep alarm. There is one minor thing though: if you accidentally knock it, the screen goes blank and you have to reset the whole thing. Other than that, I think it's great.

I like the way this clock automatically backlights when it gets dark or when you turn the light off. The backlight is a soft glow. The main light when you press the top button is much brighter. I don't know how accurate the temperature gauge is. It has a nice large display.
