Must be heated from cold. It does tend to burn the pizza base but I think with time we will get the hang of the timing. Advise of flourish the stone may be the cause of burning, so for us, still trial and error. That said, it is very crispy, so perfect for me!

Only used this once so far in our home oven, work really well making the base crispy, the only issue we had was transferring the pizza on to the hot stone but I figure that is more about technique.

Does the job well. Read user instructions before use. Do not put on HOT BBQ. Warm it up with the BBQ. Need to sprinkle flour on stone to stop base burning. Good with lifting handles. Overall impressed.

Pizza stone is advertised as suitable for temps up to 500c. Sadly when you read the manufactures (Cadac) product leaflet supplied , it says the stone is only suitable for temps up to 300c. Not happy as I bought it for the higher temps (500c) advertised.
