I used my mates Rage3 for about 2 months, so impressed I got one of my own. It can handle just about anything. I am usually very sceptical about "multi-purpose" tools, they are usually not great at any one thing. This saw is good at everything I have used it for. It is rugged, well built, accurate, fast and really does cut the materials that it claims with no noticeable blade deterioration. I use it to cut up scrap wood for the log burner, so regularly go through nails. I also use it for intricate cuts for joinery, and it handles it beautifully. I have used much more expensive saws, this saw stands alongside them with ease. I would recommend it all day long.

Absolute Pants, 40 odd cuts of 25nb 2mm wall mild steel tube and needed a new blade so I thought I'd buy a new blade from my local screwfix thinking the first one may be a dud. No how wrong I was second blade lasted about the same dont waste your money on this garbage unless you plan to pay about £1 per cut

I've had cheap chop saws before and used quite expensive ones too. At the moment I'm working on the house and needed a new one so looked around and found this. It's very much a step up from your cheap nameless diy store specials and you can feel the difference in quality. 90 degrees actually is 90 degrees and other angles are what they say they are too. The clamp works well and being a sliding chop saw means you can cut wider pieces of wood. The depth stop is a welcome addition too and allows the cutting of mortise joints very easily although you have to place some stock behind your wood. The genuine stand really helps too and this isn't expensive but makes a great addition. I haven't tried its ability to cut metal yet but this is also quite a useful promise. All in all I am very happy with it.Read full review

Have never before bought a grade C product but tried this due to other reviews left. Incredibly clean product with not even any dust on it! Blade was hardly used. Calibration....all good to go. 1st cut was totally square with lovely clean edges on 3 sides and slight fur on 4th. Very happy with product but need to find a big project to really test it. Totally recommend.

Powerful and well made saw. Works well for wood and non ferrous metals like copper and aluminum. If you want to cut mild steel you should get thicker tct blade because oem blade was too thin and wobbles with mild steel and makes rough cuts.
