I bought these to replace similar headphones that stopped working properly. Those were Sony MDR-ZX110, so I'm going to compare. The sound quality of the JVC are great, but they're really uncomfortable. For a few minutes I don't notice the discomfort, but if I wear them for more than 20-30 minutes they're really uncomfortable! I don't think my head is particularly massive, but they're just way too tight on my head. The Sony (which I've just tried on for comparison) were SO comfy, I could wear them for hours. I *really* wish I hadn't bought these.
