Typical high quality tool from Ryobi. The job I bought it for is on hold due to COVID-19 but other bolt cutting tasks I've used it for have shown it performs much like a mains powered angle grinder. Larger capacity batteries are essential.

Very tough. Bought one five years ago and totally abused it- lots of cutting stone, slate concrete and metal. Dropped it lots of times and got it wet. I thought the gear had finally busted, so bought a replacement angle grinder. I took the old one apart and found it was just a bearing collapsed - bought a new one for £2 and it's fine. Checked the brushes, gear, and other bearings and it's all good nick. So I've got two of these angle grinders now

Once you decide on a particular brand of tools & you can use the same batteries on each one it's easy & convenient. Ryobi is medium to heavy duty . Very good quality & 3 years warranty

This product is very good , for grinding and cutting metal etc . When you try stone etc it’s nothing like a corded angle grinder the power and power drain is what you would expect from a battery device. I would definitely buy this product again though just beware it may struggle with heavy duty cuts

I bought this item as a replacement for the older blue version. While this item is well made and works well it is not as versatile as the first version. For example on the older version you can rotate the battery pack making it easier to use in tight space.
