I have never used 'hybrids' or 'rescue' clubs in years of golfing but some colleagues use them a lot so I was excited to see these two at an incredible £35! They didn't work well for me off the hard driving range mat on first use but others use them when they're in the short rough and, with steeper swing and punching-through, in longer rough and I can actually concur that, so far, they work like that! They have longer (graphite!) shafts for more distance but I have gripped lower for more control to help with my introductory practice. I have used the 19deg with a very low grip to punch 'low' out of trees very well. I was a little concerned that the lack of visible weights you see on the underside of other clubs and the limited photos might mean these would be stupidly lightweight under-sole so can assure they seem "fine" in that sense. I've achieved great distance from the rough in 3 weeks but cannot say that others might be better. Amendment: after further usage, I can say that distance off the fairway is what I'd hoped for and loved watching my balls simply fly as they should! In summary - I would highly recommend these graphite-shaft clubs for 15+handicap players.Read full review

You could pay upwards of £120 - 00 per club for clubs with a better name, but would they perform any better ???? I don't think so. very good value.

got to use in anger for the first time yesterday and very pleased. The 3 iron has now been consigned to the bin. Use the 19 degree club off tee and hit longer, higher and straighter than with my old Ping 3 iron.
