This stainless steel hood extractor come complete with a plastic collar adapter for external extraction via a flexible pipe (Not supplied) and also comes with the halogen bulb. If the external extraction option is not used then the circular top cover panel should not be removed and the plastic lever inside by the lamp can be set to recirculation mode via the acrylic removable/replaceable rectangular filter inside the removeable bottom cover. The unit can be fitted under a 600mm wide wall unit either by using a slot in method over 4 screws or by using 4 predrilled holes. The 1 metre power cable does not include a pre-moulded plug so the power supply should be routed through a 3amp switched fused spur for safety. The light can be switched on separately and there are three fan speed settings with a single separate fan off switch, all of which are a push button type on the front. The highest speed is a bit noisy. The unit is light and the removable stainless steel filter holder (held by two sprung catches is a bit flimsy underneath (but the but the main shell is quite solid but watch out for sharp edges when fitting . When external venting is used then the acrylic filter can be removed. When cooking steam is present it does a good job of pulling most of the steam out and is very easy to wipe down when cleaning. The extractor is ok and does the job looks good in the kitchen. Not as powerful as expected and the filter should be reusable acrylic but is a cheap disposable paper one. Seller did not take this comment well and disputed it is am acrylic one.

only two rear fixing points, though adequate unit felt more secure when additional fixing made to the sides. Its not quiet but as expected for a three speed fan. Good value for the monies paid.

Can't fault the value and it works fine albeit noisy but it's not built to last. You get what you pay for basically and is OK for what I wanted. Ie a stop gap
