Very good decoy
These are proper alarm boxes without the sounder etc installed. The LEDs blink alternatively and aren’t that bright but are visible at night. I modified mine by soldering a regular white Led over both of the original ones as the circuit board has pads ready for that and its much brighter, might decrease battery life a little but they blink rather than alternate on/off. I would buy again.

Bought for my parents
My dad asked me to get him one of these 2 years ago and he was really pleased with it, flashing lights can be seen in the day and look really good at night. He had something similar at the front of the house which stopped working so he has had another! Easy to use and install, C battery lasts a very long time

A great product well made with good quality plastic. The structure is quite sturdy and everything fits together well. The delivery through my local Sainsbury store worked well and was very prompt. all the fittings were included and everything was well packaged. It offers great value and the pulsating green light looks very impressive. I will give it a month then I will probably buy one for the rear of my house.I want to see how long the battery lasts.A great product well made with good quality plastic. Clever Circuitry...
This arrived a couple of days after I ordered it. When I opened it and looked at the circuit board inside, there were two pairs of holes that looked as if were intended for high brightness LED's. But no :LED's that I could see - I thought it had been only partially assembled. I didn't have a 'C' type battery, only a AA... but I inserted it anyway, not expecting much. But after a few seconds, the very tiny LED's that I hadn't noticed, began to flash alternately - and brightly too. Got a C type battery later that day and I can't believe the brightness of the flash - incredible from a 1.5v battery. Obviously I can't verify the battery life, but if it's anywhere near the ('up to') 5 yrs claimed, it's a miracle. Actually, since I don't fancy climbing a ladder every few years to change the ...
