Good value? Yes but shop around. I bought re-furbished and apart from a dud battery for which I received cash back have so far found these Binatone wire free phones to be good. Not my first set so have several years of experience of moderate home use. Purchased this second set after water damage to one handset. Currently running both sets (two base units) at same time of one land line but should be able to register all handsets to one base. One point worth noting. If you have a damaged handset this needs to be de-registered using one of the good handsets and then registering the replacement handset. I believe you would have to de-register the new handset first from your newly purchased set if you buy a new set rather than individual handsets. Note max of four handsets can be registered to one base unit. Purchasing a set can be cheaper than buying just a handset and you will have a spare if you but a set with a minimum of four handsets. The phone is neat and quite attractive in appearance but the display is very poor and difficult to read. It's has a rather dated seven-segment display (SSD) having very thin segments on a blue-grey background. I also found navigating through the functions rather 'clunky' and unintuitive and the speakerphone sound quality is poor.This phone compares unfavourably with my previous Panasonic.

£27 for twin phones, with answer phone and loudspeaker on both, plus call blocker (haven't figured that out yet, but I'm sure I soon will as my abuse to scammers is getting darker). Very neat and quite stylish, clear sound, ring tones just about ok. Very shiny, could get marked easy? time will tell. Well worth the money.

The product is stylish and looks great sitting anywhere in your house. The quality of the call is fine and the built in answer mately a bonus. The only criticism I would have is that the caller display function only can be used if you subscribe to it with your network. Maybe that will be the norm with all phones but the advert was a little vague in stating this. Otherwise I'm very happy.
