well made with some very good features
I usually have at least 4 mini grinders on the go at any one time one for cutting one for linishing one for wire wheel work and last but not least the one in the angle grinder stand for chopping heavy metal stock off bar lengths, so I have some experience of what constitutes a good grinder and this has it in spades, its well balanced the guard the guard is a push button one that beats the heck out of those flimsy types with an over centre lever and way better than reaching for the screwdriver and it stays where you put it, the ability to use a hex key rather than a peg spanner is great as I have them to hand all the time plus the leverage without the slipping that peg spanners sometimes suffer from is very good, I am still getting used to the side mounted on off switch but its actually ... First class tool
I've had many angle grinders over the years and this one beats them all hands down. Many of them had awkward to operate switches, some were unbelievably noisy while other burnt out after a short while. The Dewalt is very easy to handle, well powered and just keeps coming back for more! I say this after a years hard continuous use. Highly recommended.

A very good tool, but.
I wouldn't say amazing, I would say very good and effective as well as good value. I have slight reservations about the switch for locking the spindle to load flap disks for instance and the system for registering the tool for guarantee is appalling. I tried on several occasions, used 'chat' at least three times without success and eventually gave up. I hope I don't ever need to use the guarantee since my tool is not registered.I wouldn't say amazing, I would say very good and effective as well as good value. My go to angle grinder.
I cannot fault this product, I have several of them in a very challenging industrial environment and they are all still going strong. Used hard every day, they run cool with plenty of power. My oldest one has outlasted previous grinders by 6 months already. Would definitely recommend.
