I ordered it for a relative who has no vision in one eye and limited vision in the other, quite bad memory loss and gets muddled. I managed to programme it without too much trouble from the instructions and to be fair, it did work OK. The buttons are large and easy to see. It has two channels "A" & "B" apparently so you can control two different devices. I programmed them both the same to save confusion. An un-programmed button is ignored but if it is "A" or "B" then none of the other buttons work on that channel so the user might think it isn't working. The main problem we had was my relative seemed unable to press the buttons for a short period so selecting for example channel 1 resulted in 55, 555, or 5555 as the signal repeats as long as the button is held down. So when I say it is well designed and is easy to use, that is if the user has reasonable faculties. It is, however, certainly much better than the standard remote with over 50 buttons so well worth a try for the price of the unit.Read full review
