These are nice speakers with lots of welly. I have the odd-shaped bass bin positioned behind my monitor and the little treble units just underneath it to the sides. The volume controls are easy to use - you just hold your finger on the relevent control and bingo! The sound is also pretty good - I listened to a stream of country music from David Byrne (Talking Heads) from a sofa 10' away and it was great.
This unit was to replace a similar item that I have had for many years. The old unit ceased to function, and I hoped this would be as good. It’s only fault, is two small speakers sounding ‘scratchy,. I fitted my old ones: ok.

Unusual design, purchased for pairing with another set of speakers using 3.5mm jack splitter. Not the best sound in the world, the little satellites struggle a bit, woofer has fairly decent bass and looks like a helmet from Starwars . I only paid around thirty quid so happy with the purchase.

I first came across this type of JBL speakers a few years ago when they were the sole musical source at an art exhibition. Loads of bass & distinct notes. So 2 years ago I bought a set for our dining room to provide very good quality 'dinner party' music. I am just starting a whole series of webinars & need better quality sound reproduction to enable me to concentrate - so I have bought a 2nd set!

Already had the white set, and tried them in the headphone port of my new TV (as the built in sound wasn't all that great). A vast improvement, so I set about getting a black set to match the TV. Also excellent plugged straight into my iphone or computer - very powerful bass.
