It is a boon for a small garden to have a hose reel that stores flat, and actually works without kinking!

Purchased after reading bad reviews but thought give it a go anyway. How wrong was I? These cheap made flat hoses do not work! As soon as you turn on water supply you can see the green outer support material stretch. Also you cannot go around corners as hose kinks and no water. The both ends leak even when you tighten them up! After around 5 minutes use with low water pressure, the tap and nozzle ends start to bulge out as the green support material starts to spread apart as made very cheap and nasty. I have thrown it away as not worth the hazzle of sending back, exchange, or refund. The same hose is on sale and different prices on ebay and amazon, but just stay away and purchase solid hose pipe. Yes it takes up more room ect but it works and does last! I have had different types and makes of flat hose in the past. Still don't last long but much better quality than this. I brought this with budget in mind as I had seen similar ones for a lot more money and in the hope that it would still good enough quality to hose down my small yard a couple of times a week. Firstly it broke getting the hose off of the thin plastic reel it came on (ok I wasn't really to worried about that). Then...with the first try water came squirting out of a few different places before even reaching the top (it's so thinly made that the water pressure made a hole in it almost immediately). I then cut the hose cutting the hole out and reattaching everything for it to happen all over again. It's now like a sprinkler everytime it's turned on and left me wishing I hadn't been so cheap and just brought a more expensive one. Maybe I'm just silly but I think in order to sell something it should be tried and tested and do its job. Thought it would be ok but after it's 3rd use it's split at the end it can't handle the pressure of water when not in use I would tell anybody to spend the extra cash and get a hard plastic hose the real never worked from day 1

This reel is worse than useless The hose kinked and leaked within the first month, and the spray gun nozzle leaked, spraying more water on me than on the car. Seems like a good idea but, unfortunately, it isn't. Sorry I can't find anything positive to say about this hose and reel. Postage was fast and efficient. Hence the 1 star. No problems with the seller - just the hose itself I have bought a 'real' reel and this one went in the dustbin- in less than a month. Only used twice to wash the car. Very disappointing.
