Considering it's £400 for this 50" 4k tv i was expecting there had to be a catch but to be honest I'm struggling to find fault with it. Once i tweeked the brightness and contrast a bit it looked awesome. It's very well equipped. I guess the only two things i can honestly say are slight issues are the viewing angle and the lack of apps for the smart side of things. I has plex so I'm happy enough. The viewing angle is not quite as wide as I would have liked but it's not to bad. All in all I'm quite happy with it after a month of use. A little tip.... turn of back lighting, motion correct and any other setting that aims to give something for nothing because they just make things worse.

Having known about the make Hisense 4k Tvs for a few months and read many glowing reviews . I was interested just how good a 4k tv costing a third of what I paid for my LG could actually be ? Well the answer is very good ! Starting with the Sound if you play around with settings is very good . Motion on the Tv is also very good for an Led Tv with very few artefacts .Less than my far more expensive LG !! Picture quality is very good . It isn't the brightest Tv probably around 350 nits when dynamic is used but blacks are still very good .Viewing angles are not the best but this is a VA panel not an IPS . If watching Freeview the Epg is also very good and informative .Forget that it says it plays HDR. It is HDR in name only .The only failing I would say is the Tvs upscaling to 4k . So all in all money well spent and all the bigger manufacturers better watch out!!Read full review
