At first I wasn't sure about this air fryer or any other for that matter, the first time I did chips I did them without oil and they weren't great but on the second occasion I put the chips in a bag with a tablespoon of oil to coat them then back out the bag into the air fryer and they were lovely. I have cooked scampi 🍤 which was delicious and even jacket potatoes 🥔 and they were perfect. The only thing is you need to cook your food a bit longer than a deep fat fryer but it is a small price to pay for great tasting food without all the grease. And once your finished a quick wipe down and that's it. The downside is it is larger than a deep fat fryer but again not a massive issue.

Wanted one for ages but the cost was not worth the risk. Its very very good. Did frozen F Fries quicker than I could with a normal fryer. The came out crisp, dry and fluffy on the inside. Also some potato cubes from raw which again were crispy, cooked through and light tasting. As claimed NO smell in the kitchen or house after use. So easy to clean, and quick to use. Capacity is good for 2 people full portions. Would have appreciated a bit more info in the instruction book for a first time user. Old deep fat fryer has been consigned to recycling. Hope it lasts as long as it is good, as its a pleasure to use Yes I would recommend it to people who are on the fence.

Would much rather have this than overpriced acitifry! Doesn't mush your chips up and can separate foods while cooking! Don't even use my oven anymore would highly recommend
