I bought two of these batteries . They are reasonable in price and seem very good . I have used Panasonic before but found them very poor recently . Very short life . So far I have used one of these in a vintage handlamp . It has already done a good few hours service and is still fine . Time will tell just how long they last but signs so far are very promising .

Bought four of these batteries twelve months ago. Lantern used every night to take the dogs out. Each battery lasted three months. Just bought another four. Cheaper than I can buy them locally.

They certainly work, though I can't say whether they do, in fact, have a "longer life than PANASONIC Etc" since I haven't had them long enough (or had any others recently). Thay are completely standard, size-wise, so no nasty surprises there. In short, they fit and power my lantern torches just as they're supposed to.

I enquired of the large DIY stores, leading electronic dealers and any other likely sellers of this item. Without exception their prices were very high, one leading store quoted £9.99 for one battery, yes £9.99! This item bought on Ebay was half the price of the cheapest even including post and packing. This battery ( I bought 4 because they were a bargain) is now doing its work well, my radio requires two of these batteries so the low price was a bargain.

I found these by chance, and am pleased I did, they have long expiry date, not as expensive as some but as good as.
