This system is a very expensive toy. As a serious security system it falls short of the manufacturers claims of range, HD image, battery life. The image starts to pixelate as soon as you enlarge it so facial recognition and number plate recognition are not an option. The best image is about up to 5 metres from camera at 50 metres in sight of router the signal keeps breaking down. If it detects a lot of movement your batteries drain quickly. My camera has been set up for a month with night sensor off. With one event per day my batteries are down to 88%. there is a time lag on the live event view its not long but it means the event you are viewing is over. It records 10 to 30 seconds per event so by the time you camera reacts most of the event is not recorded

Well made and light weight but the rate at which it devours batteries makes it inviable as a monitoring device. The batteries it came with lasted a week. I then had to buy rechargeable batteries and a charger for an additional £45. These last about 4 days before requiring recharging. Add to that the fact that the camera cannot pick up number plates and it reduces it to a rather sleek but ineffective toy with a hefty price tag.

Can be good as a basic CCTV system but regular issues with cameras and base stations not working . Pink hue on camera seems common too - product support very difficult to deal with - not cheap either - again okay as basic system
