To start with this product in no way hits the hi-def standards. True it offers a screen refresh rate that you would believe was good enough to be HD standard but it is generally not much better than VHS being grainy, noisy and with a colour accuracy far below what you would expect. In fact I have seen much better pictures from CCTV camera's. If you really want to add to this then in bright light the colour is so washed out that it might as well be black and white. It has very little in the way of auto controls for exposure and what there is is very slow taking anything up to three seconds to respond which would be very funny trying to film anything that might be subject to bright bursts of colour, fireworks for a typical example or anything that might be subject to drastic changes in light, concerts for example. The resolution is pretty poor which on top of the noise issue makes it almost worthless. Final nail in the coffin of this one is if, as I did you want to use its output for live video in a concert where it would enhance what the audience can see on a projector of a musicians fingers. The on screen graphics cannot be turned off even on the composite video out so you are left with loads of on screen icons spoiling the view. So this one needs with a drastic rethink before it should be sold I think. I know its cheap but with the discount the seller gave me it is still only a kids toy not what it says on the box. Not even a one star really but you have to put something.Read full review
