My window dimensions: 125 cm/50in drop by 100 cm 40in length. I used 9mtrs almost 10x the width for fullness & coverage as I don't have curtains or blinds. Use less if you want to see out more or see more of the patterns. If I want more light in, I tie them in the middle with a ribbon. The bright white looks great with deep wall colours. See pictures.
