Im on my fourth u2410 in 2 months of purchase. This monitor was recommended to me and I read some favourable reviews on tinternet. All the monitors that I have received have been completely unusuable for photo editing. Various issues with the quality of the screen, blue to yellow variations, pink / green tinting, luminance uneveness, just generally all over the place. Dell use the same screens as the Eizo cg243 and NEC spectraview 241, these are high high quality monitors and their prices (£1000+) reflect this. Clearly the quality control procedures at dell are lacking. As they market this monitor as having perfect picture quality and a 96% adobergb gamut then its meant for semi-pro use, but at the quality i've experienced it's not good for even web browsing. This review may seem a tad extreme but after viewing four models this is the result.Read full review

Monitor was very good!!! I love this technologies so I would have a Dell U2410 LCD TFT Monitor. It's the famouse monitor who he was cell!
I bought this monitor with the intention of buying 2 more, for use in an Eyefinity 3-Screen setup. The product is absolutely fantastic, the picture quality is excellent, even over a cheaper model of the same resolution due to the excellent IPS-based panel. The stand is sturdy with plenty of adjustment, and the screen will accept VESA mounting devices. One downside is that the monitor can tend to get fairly warm, especially when displaying a similar image for an extended period of time, such as web browsing. The onboard interface is simple and easy to use with the range of inputs available.
I wanted a 24" monitor for editing my photos so I could see clearly what the results would be. Many monitors for photographers are too pricey. If you read the spec for this one you will see that it suits photographers. I am not technically minded, so cannot comment. It was very easy to set up and gives good colour reproduction and detail. The only problem was that it was far too bright. Using a colour calibration device for the screen means this is easy to alter. Controls for brightness, contrast etc are on the right above the power light. This product is not cheap but a very good buy. I would recommend it. I am delighted with my purchase.
