Before I bought this I did a lot of research, I have recently bought a full frame Nikon D750 having used crop frame DSLR's for some years. I am a landscape photographer and therefore sharpness through the photo is really important to me. I read lots of reviews and especially those that did direct comparison tests between this and the more expensive Nikon eqivelent lens. The Tokina performed very well in all these side by side tests. Factors To Consider: 1. This is a heavy lens (946g) 2. Due to the construction of the front element it will not take conventional filters 3. It's a BIG lens If you are a serious photographer then this lens is well worth considering for FULL FRAME Sensors, if you are using a crop frame sensor then this lens is not really for you.
