It is very bright, but life with rechargeable cells is short. Not a problem with a good intelligent charger though. Zoom feature is valuable as extra brightness can be useful. It is very robust as frequent drops confirm. As with other torches it is easily lost/mislaid! It is a great asett during the night.

I am very pleased with this torch. It is light and easy to carry yet has a powerful focusing beam. It is well made and I expect it to last for a long time. It is supplied with a very substantial carrying case which houses the torch with 2 rechargeable batteries and charger. I cannot comment on battery life as I have not drained one yet!
