I bought a convertible mini ( soft top) 2 years ago and every time it rained it leaked. It had started getting worse, wetting the front seats. I didn’t know what to do. It was going to cost a fortune to replace roof so I decided I would sell it , at a loss. ( It is a low mileage and I loved it. ) Anyway , talking to a friend of mine he told me try this before I did anything else. I did it about 2 month ago now and it’s worked , I can’t believe it. All this rain we have had recently and no more wet seats or leaks. This stuff is great. I am going to buy another tin just to have it handy and I’ll do it again for next winter. I would definitely recommend you to try it out if you are having problems, so easy to use too. !

Went on easy, dried evenly, there is no lingering smell but water doesn't bead off as much as I had hoped. I will have to wait and see how well it works. I put two coats on the hood as an experiment, but it didn't make it bead any better

I have used this product before that's why I ordered it again it does exactly what it says on the tin. The only problem with my order is thatsays on the order that it was Fabsil "GOLD" which is what I had the first time. What I received according to the can was just Fabsil. I had to use the product straight away and could not wait for a replacement

I bought this to protect the soft top of my sports car (see photo). It's very easy to apply if you follow the instructions, and it really does a super job of protecting the fabric. A must for any sports car owners! Make sure you apply on a dry day and don't wet it before the product has dried. I also treated my dad's soft top on his sports car, I had to really work hard to remove lichen that had been growing away there happily over the past couple of years. Once I got that sorted the roof was looking quite faded and stained so I bought some Protex and painted it on. Once that had dried I applied the Fabsil and the roof literally looks like new again. When it rains the water beads up on the surface and I'm pretty sure it'll be a deterrent to that pesky lichen (which everyone seems to call mould although it isn't).Read full review
