I was pleased with the rod pod as it contained everything you need in a pod. It had 3 bite alarms, 3 line danglers, 3 rear handle rod rests a carry bag and adjustable black frame. First issue I noticed was the weight of the item, it's heavy if you are going any distance to your swim. Next issue was the dangler indicators. One broke on its very first outting the black plastic hinge is so fragile any pressure on it and it's snaps. All 3 indicators had snapped after 3 trips. The bite alarms are good value getting 3 with the pod. However they are very sensitive, just walking past them or lifting a rod up next to an alarm sets them off. A light wind also sets them off. There is no sensitivity setting. The pod itself has clips allowing you to adjust leg length and the length of the main centre ... Another issue is the height the rod pod puts your rods at. The two poles which sit on top of the legs put you rods too high up. In windy conditions this causes the bite alarms to go off constantly, you need back leads to sink your line and your set up is visible to any carp going by. The rod pod lasted 4 months from new. When overnight fishing at a local lake I had a bite from a large fish. I never found out how big it was because it pulled so hard that the pod collapsed. The two vertical poles screw into a metal thread mounted in plastic which also holds two legs front and rear. The plastic holding the thread gave way the front bar with 3 bite alarms was pulled into the lake the rear rod rest bar dropped off the stage into a reed bed and the rod was pulled in the lake. This identified a weak spot with the design of the pod so I would not recommend it. It's too flimsy, the bite alarms too sensitive, the dangle indicators are very poor quality, the carry bag is falling apart so I'd avoid this item unfortunately. I think NGT is starting to stand for Not Good Tackle.

Terrible quality
Upon assembly everything seems well. Good rod pod for cheap but will not last at all. Threads on the plastic is terrible and broke off whilst taking apart. Very fragile and cheaply made. I will give 2 stars for the bite alarms and the fact that with a bit of self DIY and glueing a few nuts onto the plastic will just have to suffice. If your not anyway able to fix with nuts and bolts stay clear and do not buyUpon assembly everything seems well. Good rod pod for cheap but will not last at all. Threads on the plastic is terrible and broke off whilst taking apart. Very fragile and cheaply made. Absolutely AWFUL product
awful, started to break after the first use. Threads poor, build quality terrible. It sits about 4 foot off the ground. Bite alarms go off whenever they feel like it. may as well throw your money in the bin than spend it on this rubbish.
