Fully customisable in terms of appearance (i.e. Complications, as the watch face styles are called, apps, battery saving and so on) with an impressive array of interchangeable straps from Apple or other vendors. Even though this may be the Series 1 Watch (and be careful of the difference between Series 1 and Apple Watch (1st Generation) - they are not quite the same!) it still runs the latest WatchOS and is great value now compared to buying a new Series 3. Of course, it does not have built-in GPS or cellular and is not waterproof but otherwise very similar to the latest models. Save yourself £200 and go for the older model ...
