I bought this product for me but I have a shorter type of kettle, I gave it to my mother as we both have arthritis and are likely to spill, it has been very good for her and stops her having potential accident.

I have two kettles. Both about the same size as shown in the advert. If I place them central on the base stand they dont rest against the forward keeper so the kettle is unstable when tipped. If I move them until they are against the keeper the kettle swings off balance while at rest making it unstable. Sometimes the side side prongs of the swing cradle catch against the base part and prevent tipping (smoothly). Still use the thing but have to be careful with it. A huge kettle may sit more central and stable. Would not use it at all with a small one.
