When the roller guide arrived I knew straight away that it was slightly inferior to the "hoselock" version as I had one many years ago. The body is thinner than the original one I had but this was expected and the price reflected that. The roller guide has been fitted 300mm from the reel and I pull the hose at right angle for about 20metres and everything is fine, so good I am contemplating getting two more. It has achieved my goal which was making the reeling in of the hose an easier task with no kinks, providing you keep water under pressure and releasing pressure once hosepipe has been retrieved.

Good value, and guides the hose round the corner with ease. The plastic at the inside was not entirely flat and didn't allow the hose guide to fit close to the corner of the wall, but was easy enough to trim off with a sharp knife. With the pre-drilled holes it is possible to use the hose guide either flat or on a corner.

This is the second one of these I have brought. Quality is good it works well with guiding the hose and is about half the price of another well known brand so what’s not to like?

Yes very well pleased with this and it now stops the hose getting damaged from the wall when using it in the front garden. It’s very well made and good quality product. Just a little disappointed with the length of time it took to arrive. By that a side it was well priced and I consider very good value.

Excellent compact hose guide. I have a few raised beds and have to get the hose around a few corners, so I've fitted 4 or 5 of these about the place. They are easily fitted to square or round posts of 2-3" or on shed, garage or house corners. If I had one design criticism, it would be that they would be great fitted with somewhere to hang or clip hose fittings, nozzles or the like so they are easily to hand.
