This DVD is absolutely brilliant, but by no means think it's going to be easy!!! I love the fact each level is only 20 minutes long, so with two young kids, even I could find time to do it everyday. After each time I did the DVD I would feel muscles working that I never knew I had... a really nice feeling! I'm currently half way through level two and it's a killer. I even got my husband to join in a few sessions and he agrees it's tough work but already he has seen a difference in my body tone. If like me, you don't want to commit too much time but want fast results and you're prepared to work hard, then this is definitely the DVD for you.

Bought this as an addition to my fitness regime which, having a 6 month old and 2 1/2 year old, is mainly via DVD's during nap time! Workout has 3 levels, I've just completed P90X which helped me loose all my baby weight. All levels are pretty hard core but I was able to go straight to level 3 which I was a little disappointed about. Workout are only 20mins so I sometimes start with level 3 and then do the other ones. However, I've got a good base level fitness and am a bit obsessive!! Jillian's girls have rather inane grin throughout the workouts! The timing cues are few and far between and, if you're not concentrating, Jillian has started another exercise. You need to do it a few times and know what's coming next so you can get all your reps in. There are no indicators of what the next exercise will be so you can prepare. Had many workout DVDs but this one is far the best, easy to understand and follow for beginners and more experienced and advanced if you want to get results this is the one for you. 3 different levels. each 20 minutes a day then progress from level 1 for 10 days level 2 10 days then level 3 for another 10 days

I heard about The Shred from a friend who had seen it on U Tube, so I decided to try it out myself. The dvd is everything it says it is - a hard 20 minute work out at three levels, but well worth the effort as it really tones up the body and although I don't manage to do it every day, I'm doing level two now at least four times a week. I recommend wearing trainers to give support for knees and ankles. I also think that people need to have done exercise before - this is definitely not for beginners. I'm not good at sticking to exercise at home, but I think I will be doing this dvd for quite a long time to come as Jillian Michaels philosophy makes a lot of sense and the workout doesn't take too long to do. Just for info I'm 61 !
This is a great workout for busy people or those who dont like long workouts as its only 29 mins long. I have lost weight with these workouts in the past and getting back to a healthier lifestyle post lockdown again so using this DVD.
