Had my panasonic sd-206 breadmaker for quite a long time and sometimes getting bread out was difficult and the paddle would tear a big lump of bread out after shaking the mixing vessel pretty hard. The original paddle and container is a greyish colour . I beleive it was a silicone coated finish. The paddle , after many 100's of loaves was looking a bit battered so bought a new genuine Panasonic mixing blade . It is black & PTFE coated. I have only had it a week or so but each of the loaves have slid out of vessel quite easily and the paddle mark is barely visible. Just a neat, circular ½" hole . Early days but ok so far.

The replacement paddle fits the bread maker and we did make a loaf of bread using it. However, the original paddle from Panasonic had a Teflon non-stick coating which meant it could be removed from the newly baked loaf of bread relatively easily. This replacement has no non-stick coating and leaves a sizeable hole in the base of the newly baked loaf when the latter is removed from the baking pan. It is possible that coating the replacement paddle with vegetable oil or margarine prior to baking a loaf might improve matters - I have not investigated. I am now attempting to purchase the exact spare part replacement of the original paddle from Panasonic hoping that it will have the Teflon coating.

This replacement part for SD-2500/1WXC Panasonic Breadmakers does the required job in all respects.. *NOTE ..... It fits properly (a loose fit like the original for easy removal). Should give years of service if handled carefully to preserve the non-stick coating. Item arrived quickly

It's good to replace these kneading blades occasionally, as it stops the things sticking in the bread. I bought a silver one last time, but these Teflon-coated ones are just as good, but cheaper.

Bought to replace original which has now turned up. Inferior to the original. Paint already wearing off after three uses and bread tends to get stuck to this paddle more than to the original one. Will be kept as a spare in case it's ever needed again.
